Exhaust idea

Alright first i want to say excuse the photoshop work because i did it in paint in like 3 minutes. second this is on th edrivers side of the car just past the door. its a coupe. i want to put the muffler perpendicular to the car and have it face sideways where there is an s curve in the stock piping. if my picture doesnt do my description justice which it probably wont go look on your cars and you can see where i am talking about. i anyone else thinks this is a cool idea let me know and if you dont like it keep it to yourself. no im just kidding let me know what you all think. im not looking for performance just originality. i can get a smaller muffler most likely for free so ill have to say goodbye to the one i have now but its ok. so without further ado here it is.

Its been done. Its just side car ported exhaust. It can be cool if done right but if done wrong it can produce nasty effects such as heat issuse as well as mucking up the paint or side skirts if any.

but about the topic of this thread-it can be done like Psycho said just make sure when you do it you do it right. I think its pretty cool because not too many people do this to there car. so if you like I say go for it alex lol

Haha ive only seen it done nice once, on a gt mustang in front of a movie theater. Haha first time I ever saw it and still the best to date. As for the Cavi, I believe it can be done, altho it will take alot of work. Not to mention everything else has to flow with it, like having it lowered just the right bit, and all other kinds of crap. Of course this is all in my opinion, but hey, thats what forums are for.

If anything I would say go with a dual setup and port it out both sides with a nice deep angle cut to the tips. Going single out would just be odd and wacky.

alright both of these kids are retarded and need to kill themselves. vinyl is for seats not exhaust pipes. the idiot was probably trying to drift and hit a pole in a parking lot. and back to my (the thread starters) post thanks for the info. as for the dual exhaust i dont like them on 4 bangers i think they are pointless. also i didnt look but im not sure if there is room for another muffler over there. my other friend suggested doing an inline muffler with tips. that might happen but im not sure. the bowtie tips. hahaha never in my whole life. i dont like them at all. but ill definitly get pics on when it is all finished.

as you can see i from this engine that my crew and i threw together last week i am the best and smartest car builder on the west coast. ive set up the air intake to boost my maxium rpms. i have 10 bangers under my hood and with the piston power ups i installed i can push just over 500 hp. most of the parts were specially made to maximize my burst speed. my uncle also used to work for nasa and hooked my crew up with state of the art fiber optics and bangers. ill put some body pix up laterz we havent finished the final paint coat yet but as soon as i do ill let you dummy's know. maybe one day youll be as good as me and ill give you my awesome tips.

You have a cheap ebay intake...it didn't even get rid of the 2200 box on your tb. You've done nothing to your engine bay but that. Oh and one last thing...GOOD LUCK pushing 500+ hp out of a 2200. Not going to happen!

my friend's grandpa has to order the tubing and he lives 2 hours away so we havent gotten a chance to do it yet, but dont worry it will happen. i will do the exhaust and the intake on th esame day though. like i said before i dont like dual exhaust on a 4 banger and i still think it will be tight on one side. trust me. and the other retard he is retarded i hope they ban him right away. umm i think that is it oh yea new 1/4 mile times in sig.

LMAO sorry to bring a thread back from the dead.. I just thought it would be appropriate to laugh at this MORON. This is MY car, I was parked on Ocean Drive on South Beach and a drunk girl ran into it in an expedition, as you can see. She tried to flee the scene, but that's about the stupidest thing you can do on South Beach at any time of day... she made it 1 block away and got stuck in traffic, where 3 officers that witnessed the accident ran up to her, yanked her from her car and threw her on the ground where they slapped the cuffs on her.

Car's back in top shape after a full and complete paint job paid by my collector's insurance. I posted these pics on SupraForums back when it happened...
