Benz 2002 C230: Light sensor

I've been getting malfunction warnings that include anywhere from 1-4 of my backlights. All of them light up properly, yet the display is telling me to visit the workshop. Anybody else have this problem, or can anyone guess as to what's going on???:crying:

When one light goes out it will substitute with another light. so if the brake light goes out it will light up the tail lights on both sides so you can't tell there is anything wrong
