window cleaner

I am sure this has probably been ask before, but what is a good window cleaner. I had been useing the cheapy stuff from the dollar store and had the usual light hazy film when finished. I found a bottle of ArmorAll auto glass cleaner at the local wallyworld, it claims to be streak free and not leave a hazy film. My windows look worse now than they ever have and I am haveing one heck of a time trying to get this stuff off. Thanks

Try Stoner's.You can get it at Wal-Market. Works good for me.

Is this for inside or outside?

Outside I use windex with some newspaper and it seems to work fine.

If you are using it inside, use amonia-free cleaner if you have tint. I just use a damp cloth.

I just use windex inside and out. On the inside, I spray the cloth so it doesn't get on the dash and fade/dry it out.

I've never heard of using newspaper for cleaning windows. Does it work better than a new shop rag or paper towels?

I like GM glass cleaner. It's available at the dealer parts dept. No Touch in the aerosol can works almost as good but I haven't found any around here in a long time.

Clean with a wet terry cloth towel and remove the streaks with a dry one. If you do it on a regular basis your windows will sparkle.

a buddy of mine showed me this chamois ball that wal-mart sells and it is the best thing I've found for getting all the haze off the interior of the windows. It's only about $2.50. You dont get it wet to use it. Just clean your inside as you normally would if they are really bad, let them dry then rub over the window with the ball. Amazed the crap out of me first time I used it.

It's always worked great for me. I think I heard about a the first time years and years ago before I was even in my teens. It's always been streak free shine.

I've used about everything under the sun and I have found the "Invisible Glass" that is sold at walmart to be great !!

And yes, use newspaper for cleaning, you'll be amazed on how good the windows look !!!
