anyone ever heard of this flo blade gas saver thing for the saturn ion.. any good, ripoff, ruin your engine etc? id like info on it if anyone has any

one it's a scam. to where you ave to install them is way to dangerus compared to the 1 mpg difference you are going to be getting.( you have to install it AFTER all the filters so if it breaks guess where it goes... thats right in your engine.)

never heard of this product but if it is simular to the "tornado vortex generator" product my ruling is: good theory, poor design.

they do save gas though, just not for the reasons most people think. Basically they are an airflow restriction. think babout it, it is an object that you are putting in your intake. it has mass, granted a small one but it is there regardless. Your MAF or what ever sees a Slight less ammount of air coming through, so it tells the ECU to inject slightly less fuel. Voila, fuel savings. :)
