I recently purchased two Honda Accords through an online auction site. One is a 2004 Honda Accord EX-L and the other is a 2001 EX with vtec. I paid $2100 for both cars with clear title. They are both in excellent exterior condition and they run and drive great. The downside to these cars is that they were bought from louisiana and were flooded fromthe katrina hurricanes.
I have been stuck with these cars for about three weeks now and need to get them sold. If i can find a source for the complete interior for both cars i should be able to get at least $15k and $10k easily for both cars.
If there is anyone who can direct me to someone or someplace where i can get used interior or maybe somwhere where i can have custom interiors redone it would be very much appreciated. I live in ocala florida but if i have to pay for shipping that wouldnt be a problem.
I have been buying and fixing up seized and impounded cars for about 2 years now but have never dealt with water damaged cars. Is there anything that i should look out for other than the interior that needs changing. the electricals ,transmission and engines all work great.

I have a buddy that is thinking of buying another car swaping the interiors and then selling it. But there is no resell in your case.
You should watch ebay, or your local junk yard, for a damaged car that matches. If you get the right one then you can just swap the interiors and be done with it. You may save more money that way. Finding parts independently takes forever!

The reason why i have come all this way to a forum site is because i am not able to find the stuff i want anywhere. I tried the junk yards in my area but they dont have anything in good conditions and very few of my model.
For me buying used cars and scrapping them wont work . I dont know too much about body work stuff and it may cost more than what i paid for the cars. i paid $2100 for both cars and on ebay, something in my year and model all the way in newyork(im in florida) cost the lowest about $4500 crashed. Besides what will i do with the car once i scrap it?
Usually i buy my cars through auction sites like ebay.com or scotiarealty.com and other online auction listing sites that post auctons from insurance company and bank repo cars ect. These cars usually need only minor repairs and or parts, some just a wash. So far since december ive bought and sold 17 cars and the most ive ever spent on parts and labor on any of the cars is around $2500 tops .
:) If you and your friend want to buy a 2004 and a 2001 honda accord and scrap it i would be more than willing to buy the interior from you if the price is right..LOL
Thanks for your response .. if you or anyone else in this post do happen to come across anything please let me know. Thanks . Mike [email protected]

There are always people selling stuff out of their cars. You may want to check the honda Fourms, or post a thread in the classifieds for a Want to Buy.
