1. Sounds like the springs in the drums are rubbing/rusty and require a good cleaning
2.Grease will keep it from sticking and somewhat of a water sealer, never heard of it helping to keep it from burning out, are you using the correct bulb?
3.check your tranny fluid. sounds to be low on it and the loud clunk you hear is the tranny catching on, keep doing that and it will only get worst not to mention damaging the tranny mounts.
4.Not sure about that one but do beleive on that model it will be behind the front fascia on the drivers side, the leaking is probably from where the pump is on the bottom and should be fixed with a little J & J weld, a mixing sealan/cement type material that comes in two tubes.
6. I would check the sorrounding of the taillights to find where the water is comming in and seal it with a clear bond.
7. I have read alot about that a/c controler going out and only operating on certain speed, a quick search of the forum should get you the info you need for that fix.

5. For you O2 prob, change your other O2 sensors and have your cat checked.

another fix is to take advantage of the 1500 cash back at your local chevy dealership and get a new car. LOL but then again not a lot has changed in the GM v6's, still run hot and not the smoothest refined motors....sigh...when will GM learn?

Do I detect a hint of sarcasm? What is still not working?

You really can't condemn all GM V-6s. The Buick 231 is the most envied, emulated, and still the best automotive V-6 on the planet, bar none. The Chevy V-6s do tend to have some issues, but heat isn't one of them. Almost every engine currently produced has a target coolant temperature at or above 220°F.
