I would say yes. I mean your asking on a dodge forum. The hemi is a great engine with plenty of power under the hood.

It only has 16,000 miles so much can't be too wrong with it. as logn as the price is right I would say sure egt it. I got an 01 RAM without the hemi I got the 5.2L V8 but I love it.

The price of fuel is only going to increase. Depending on your situation you could be stuck with the truck for a few years. Something to think about. How much do you really need a truck like that?

You would be surprised at the amoung of problem ANY vehicle could have in half those miles.
Edit: Yeah nothing major should be wrong. Very minimal small things.

I get around 13-14 city. Not sure about all highway though. Im sure once i put the stock 17s back on it will go up some. Quite a bit lighter than the 22s im running now.

Those Hemi's suck a lotta gas. Just traded in an '03 Hemi Quad Cab so I know. I'd be very careful with this purchase. It could run ya' broke in no time flat just on gas alone. Yeah, I know it's probably a beautiful machine and all but these engines are known for toner cranks blowing apart and a weak valvetrain resulting in the infamous Hemi Tick. The salesman/ seller won't tell ya that. Gas prices might be easing lately but eventually they're gonna hit $4.00 a gallon. Ya' see, it seems the Indians and the Chinese want parity in their standards of living to the west and other developed nations. You might average around 12 MPG. If you go for it, be sure to have an economical daily driver as a standby and your insurance goes up too. If you're really interested in a big powerful, nice truck, I recommend you look at the '06 Ram QC hemi with MDS! You could get a used late model for a good price so be patient and shop wisely! :smokin:
