I have a 94’ ZJ with a Dana 35 in the rear. I found a 95" ZJ with a Dana 35 in the rear that has disc brakes. So I would like to take the brakes from the 95 and put it on my Jeep. I currently have drum brakes. There is no question that they will swap over easily with no modifications. I already checked on that. The problem is the master cylinder. The master cylinder on the 95 is different then the one on my ZJ. I was told I need the other master cylinder for the rear disc brakes to function properly. I do not know much about master cylinders so I need a little help.
Here are the pictures of the master cylinder for the Jeep that I am getting the parts from:

I have a couple questions.

Can I swap the master cylinder without no major modifications? And do I need any special parts? If so what?
What is the big black round thing that the cylinder bolts to? And do I need the old one off the parts Jeep or can I use mine? They appear to be the same. They appear to have the same bolt pattern. The only difference is the hose that comes off the engine and goes to the black round thing on the parts Jeep is on the passengers side and the hose mounts to the drivers side of the black round thing on my Jeep. It appears that my black round thing is 180 degrees upside down from the one on the parts Jeep. Is this ok?
The ABS motors appear the same on both vehicles accept for a couple of small things. The hoses go to different places on my motor then on the parted out Jeep’s ABS motor. I obviously will not have ABS so can I simply by pass the ABS motor? Or what? I need to know what I need to do with the motor. Can I use mine or do I need the one off the parted out Jeep or what?
I cant find help around where I live on this topic what so ever!!! I plan to go get the parts tomorrow and I desperately know if this is something that can be done. I would HIGHLY appreciate it if someone would take the time to answer all my questions for I have never done this modification before. Thanks!

ok I don't know that much about M/C, but I do know that most master cylinders have tiny valves in the base where the reservoir goes in which adjust and regulate fluid flow between secondary and primary pistons, along with compensation ports which would probably be different in disc than drum since fluid flow and reactin is different between the 2. that's just my opinion. I would try to match whatever you can instead of running into problems later and having to work backwords. try to find out from peoople who have done the swap also first.
