oil leak 3.1 V6

First let me introduce myself:

I'm Louis from the netherlands and I am the owner of a nice white 1990 Pontiac Trans sport 3.1 V6,with all options.
I own this car for three years now and very pleased with the way it drives and its luxury.

But now I have a problem:
Since a 2-3 weeks I have an oil leak that seems to be coming from the base of the distributor or the end of the intake.Because this is only an inch apart it's difficult to see.

The problem is that coming back from a holiday the oilpressure gauge needle rocketed to max and after lifting the gas it came down to do it's work properly.
This happend several times during the way back.

Now I found out when the engine is cold and just started,the oil is thick and the needle goes skyhigh to the max and when it warms up it comes down and functions properly.
In the meantime it seems to have build up some pressure somewhere and thrown out some oil at the distr.or the intake.

The engine runs good and doesn't misfire or hesitate's or something.

1990's 3.1 have an "O" ring at the bottom of the distributor that will get hard and leak oil, easy to replace. As for the gauge when cold I can only guess the oil sender on the engine needs to be replaced, hope you keep your oil changed often.

Thanks for your reply,I already thought it could be something like this,because I tried to take the distributor out,but seemed to be stuck.
It turns free,but won't come out,looks like this O ring is jamming things...

Now I have to find a way to get this sucker out:screwy:
