If anyone remembers, I was having issues about 7 months ago with my 96 and the alternator. I had a local shop rebuild mine for me. It tested fine on the bench, but in the truck, it didn't work. They finally took the truck in for a diag and found out they had put a bad stator in the alternator.
Fast forward to now...
I have the rear wheel speed sensor issu (RrAbs and Brake), but NOW, I've got a Check Engine light. AND, when I get above 2700 RPM, the battery and 4x4 light come on.
Is this the Alt again?

Chances of the probably of it being an alternator issue - 99%
Don't even bother with another rebuild pn your current one, either get yourself a new (remanufactored) OEM alt or a BOSCH alt - I gave the part# of my Bosch alternator on this website under one of the threads about alternator issues within the last 2 months I believe.
Otherwise, let me know if you need the Bosch part#, and I will look that up again when I get home.
I put my Bosch in almost 2yrs ago, hasn't skipped a beat since.

I just recently found that number. I guess I'll have to buy another one. My wife's gonna kill me. Two alt's in less than a year. She's gonna make me get rid of the truck. :)
Thanks man.
EDIT: Just thought of something. You have a 97. I have a 96. Same alt?

You know I'm not 100% positive, but I am 95% positive that it is. Look on your drivers door jamb, was your truck in fact built in 96 or built in 95.5?
In 95, they redesigned a few things and labeled those trucks as 95.5yrs, some parts could be of the actual 95 yr or they could be the 96yr.
