Cold Air Intake Aggrevation

so yea i just put an AEM cold air intake in my car (05 corolla) and my check engine light came on like 2 days after running the car with the intake. the instruction told me to disconnect a vaccum hose and attatch it to the intake, but now there is nothing attatched where the hose used to be so when i run the car it makes a sucking noise. any help would be greatly appreciated.
