Hows it going guys. I used to own a 99 eclipse Rs (Realy Slow). I sold it about a year ago and bought a 66 mustang V8. Well I am going off to college and selling the mustang. So I need a good car to go back and forth with. I found an eclipse Gst for 5k I went and looked at it it has zero shaft play and looks to be in good shape engine wise. I was wondering though one of my friends just got a brand new coblat ss supercharged his parents bought him. He has aready added a stage two performace kit in it and got a dyno score of 242 to the wheels. Well I want to be faster then him and wanted to know what it would take to beat that. By the way he paid 1k for that upgrade and got is installed at the stealership. I do all my work and my friends know alot to so I can work on my car myself. So how much money and what would it take to match or beat that score.

from bone stock to over 245 would probable cost you upwards of $2500 doing it yourself unless you get some good deals and used parts. You'll probably need at least a walbro 190, 550+ injectors, someting to control them, fmic, 14b or bigger , bov, exhaust, intake, and all of the free mods. You could buy my talon for $6k and just add fuel mods and you're setup for 300+ hp. BTW I'm looking at a cobalt so its good to know about the stage 2 kit.

to get 245 you wouldn't need the fmic. It just helps.

The stock smic would heat soak pretty quick at 245+
