read the FAQ sticky thread.

yes there is a way to do it. its been done many times before. no kit. you just have to buy all the parts then do the swap.

are you going to do the labor youself? because its not like u can just undo some bolts and pull the old one off and then lift the new one up with one hand and put the bolts back on with the other. if ur not going to do the work youself i would consider just selling it and buying a stick because parts and labor costs for the conversion at any shop will be a fortune. u might as well just get a different car (depending on the year and mileage and so on) what are the specs on ur car and how long have u had it? (emmotional connections to the car are just as important as costs) also were u planning on putting in a brand new transmission or a used one? cause if u get a good transmission for the conversion it might save u some money in the long run anyway.

my '94 3kgt is very valuable to me it has already abuncha mods i already did such as racing seats rims body kit borla exhaust and custom paint job and that cost me a lot as it is but i really want a stick and i was young and dumb when i first bought it so...but no i have a friend who owns a shop and his dad was gonna do it for me since he already has done all the installation and paint job for almost nothing

It's honestly not hard to do at all. If you have all the parts you could do it in half a day on your back, so if you have a shop with air and a lift it should be cake. It depends how attached to THAT car you are. Overall it would be cheaper and easier to replace the automatic, sell the car, and buy a 5-speed SL. But if you've got time and money invested into that car already, then converting it may be your best route, if a 5-speed in THAT car is what you really want. Good luck, and if you need any help feel free to ask.
