Many may experience this, especially with the old American Ballzy cars. I just wanna know how I can stop it, or at least reduce it. Any suggestions?

Vapor lock is due to the fuel getting too hot, either in the fuel line or carb bowl. The first thing is to see how hot the engine is getting, anything over 200 F for daily running around and you should look for ways to get it cooler. Next is to see if the fuel lines pass by anything hot like headers. You can insulate the fuel lines pretty inexpensively, any speed shop should have something for it. I've used phenolic carb spacers under my Holleys which also helped.

Also, try not to use rubber fuel lines... keep them steel as much as possible.

If you already have some rubber lines in the fuel line, try replacing them all with
new rubber lines if you can't do steel.

I've seen rubber lines be bad even though they look just fine.
