I want to clean my egr and I am no to sure what to do. I have it out and I see the piston thing that move but shuld the cleaner be used in the hole??

I am not sure you got ahold of egr valve.
If it has a plunger on the end it may be the IAC valve.
Tell us a little more about the shape of it and where it was located.

Found it at the front of the engine more to the pannarger side. Has two 10mm bolts and a wire conector on the top. I search for a picture so i know i got the right thing. I just didnt explain it well i guess

As stated above, pull the EGR...2 10 mm bolts... Clean with carb cleaner and a wire brush, make sure pintle is moving freely, reinstall w/ new gasket , torque to 10 ft pounds..

That is a EGR valve for sure.
I was not sure when you described it. Sorry about that.
As said carb cleaner and wire brush for cleaning.
I never did like to push the plunger around on a electic controled egr valve.
The main problem they have is not usally the carbon build up in them but the old carbon balls getting stuck between plunger and seat.
If they are stuck open you will see a carbon ball stuck under plunger when you pull the egr valve off.
One help that does help if it is getting carbon balls is a gasket with a screen built in it.
Some parts places have them. Not a cure for the carbon ball build up but does help keep them out of the egr valve.:grinyes: :rofl: :lol:
And blow the intake out when valve is off.
Even starting the engine with valve off will blow some out.
If it is building carbon balls in the egr valve side if intake.
You may need to check and see if any engine running problems is causung carbon ball build up.
Like over fueling, running rich or injector unit problems.
