Where is the Fuel Filter?

I know its a borderline noob question, but my dad and I hope to replace the one in my '00 v6 sometime in the next week before I go back to school. Thanks.

might be along the frame under the car. Driver side i think. But I might be wrong

driver side infront of the rear wheel and like 12 inches in from the chasis (give or take a few inches)
