you might have burned your switch. check the switch with tester and see what happens. if the switches are perfect, then the problem is the motor, get another one.

you definetelyu have burned switch.. just get a tester from autozone and test it. you know, those testers like screw driver, when you touch to electrical spots, it lights up.

good luck.. let us know what is wrong with it!

Could also be a bad headlight relay.

replace it with a new one. just pop the little switch out, and plug in the new one. some times you can find them at junk yards.

If your good you can take apart the switch and clean off the contacts inside. This usually works. The contacts inside become dirty after awhile but can be repaired if properly taken apart, cleaned, and reinstalled. If you dont want to take it apart then you can try a can of electrical contact cleaner. Spray it into the uninstalled switch, let it set for a few minutes, then shake out the remaining liquid and let it dry for about an hour and see if it works when you put it back in. Rarely do the parts inside the switch wear out so bad they cant be reused, considering the corrosion is removed from within the switch. Ive done this several times and if im using a second hand switch from a junk yard, i do this anyways because when they sit in a junk yard for a long time, they usually work for a short time.
