I don't know how to use it, but I do know, everyone who does have one says not to trust it. The knock detection isn't accurate enough to rely on. Basically it taps into the stock knock sensor, but isn't sophisticated enough to read the sensor like the ECU does. So it shows values which are only rough to begin with, and then you have to try and figure out a coorelation to what those values actually equate to in the ECU's 'mind'. Every 3S owner that I have heard of trying to figure this out has gotten frustrated and either given up, or got something additional to monitor knock.
Basically, it is like trying to do a mathematical proportion of 2 different fractions (knock counts/knock threshold) but you are setting the variable you are looking for equal to an estimate at best. So yeah, I'll search if you want, but in the 20 or so times I've come across this topic, I've never seen any worthwhile success. It might show knock when you have none, it might not show knock when you do.
Bottom line, if you have a 91-93 get a datalogger and forget about it.

If that whole math/proportion rant didn't make sense, this is what I'm talking about:
http://www.3si.org/forum/showthread.php?t=309905&highlight=safc2+knock+feature
http://www.3si.org/forum/showthread.php?t=318083&highlight=safcII+knock+sensor
Here it is in english, "Knock count and raw voltage from the knock sensor are two completely different things. ECU reads the voltage, filters the background noise and calculates the actual knock count. With safc-ii you can calibrate it to filter the background noise, but it's still not 'knock count'."
