Weapon Air Intake

Has anyone installed a Weapon- R intake on his/ her 1.9L escort? If so, can you please tell me what's the correct way to install the Intake Air temp. sensor? I had mine installed in the smaller hole of the intake piping. The sensor itself does not actually fit in this hole and I had to use some tape to sort of seal it. Now I'm getting a engine check light coming on. If I can plug this hole and install the temp sensor elsewhere, let me know. Thnx guys.
