So, I know that 'who would win' threads are forbidden, and I'not asking who would win, I know I will. I just thought you would get a kick outa this, and the race I'm having tommorow after work.

I was chillin in the Ford office with some of the guys I work with when one of th Ford guys comes in. Young, maybe 21-22, I've seen him around, he has a fart canned 90 somthing Civic EX. I was talking to the guys about their bikes when he jumps in and says his Civic could take this one dudes Gixxer 750. We all kinda laugh, and since I'm the one who knows about cars, they ask me to find out what I can about this uber Civic.

So I talk to him a little later, and the convo goes something like this...

ME: So, you must have some real work done to your EX to be able to pull a 750
Him: Yeah. I got the hole shot on one of those new C6 'Vettes real easy, a bike thats under a litter is no big deal
Me: So, you got what, an H22 running some major boost?
Him: Nah, fuck the H22, its a POS
ME: So, a B serries with boost and spray?
Him: Nope.
Me: A D16?
Him: Yeah, I'm gonna show everyone that wasting your money on the twin cams is stupid, that the SOHC is the way to go.
Me: So you got a boosted D16?
Him: Nope
Me: How much spray?
Him: None. Its all motor. I can pull a 'Vette, and whup up on most of the other cars around here, I got proof on tape if I could get my video cam to work again
ME: Thats a load of shit.
Him: What the hell does that mean?
Me: No bolt on D16 is gonna out pull a 'Vette unless its on a bike.
Him: Dude, its not just bolt on's, its a ton of other fucking stuff to. It'll whup up on anything you throw at it.
Me: So what are you running?
Him: I ain't saying anything, I wanna keep it a secret.
Me: Don't be a fucking pussy man, your talking up your car like you got some real shit, so I'm saying it, throw it out there. You got something to run, some real shit, I wanna see it.
Him: Naw, its cool, I don't wanna waste my gas.
Me: Don't be a bitch. You got something bad ass then through it out there. I wanna run your little shit box EX, and see what the fuck is the big deal is.
Him: Fine, fine, you wanna get embaressed, I'll do it.
Me: Good, I'll meet ya out at (insert location here) after work tommorow, round noonish, give or take. Bring whatever the hell you got, cause I'm gonna whup your ass.
Him: Pfft, I'll be doing the ass whuping.

I walk away laughing, and tell the other guys about the convo, and they all just bust out laughing. They are all gonna show up to watch this little shoot out, and so is my new 'crew'. Yeah, those guys from my last race, the Civic and the Charger, they are following me all over the fucking place now and are always calling me to go racing with them. I think it might break their hearts when I leave for MO next week.

Anyways, I'll keep ya updated on what happens, I'm sure it will be glorious.

People make me laugh but a lot of time they make me pissed off. I know my car is quick but I know it's not the quickest. I don't drive like it is either. I got 50 bucks on Cassiesman. The only bike a that civic will take is one with pedals and three wheels. I know you won't have any problem. I can easily take my friends B16 civ, but that's not saying much since he's bone stock with it. He also thinks it weighs as much as my car. A 95 civic weighing in at 3200lbs? Yeah right.

Well, the race hasn't happened yet, but we went to two different places, and there were cops at both spots, so we are gonna meet up later tonight to get it done. I also told him to bring some money, I don't wanna waste my gas for nothing, and he started laughing and said well I'll think about it. Also, one of the guys got a good look at his car the other day, said it has the stock exhaust piping, just a can sitting on the back, lol.

Race never happened, we had some nasty storms and I lost power for a few hours tonight, but I called him up, and we got it all set up for tomrow, weather permitting. He's also willing to put down a hundred bucks, so this is getting even better.

I had a built d16 (non-vtec) with cam, pulleys, pistons... the works and it never dipped under 14s. It did pull on some dohc cars but no vettes and certainly no bikes... Take him out and then take his money...
