anybody heard???

My sunrrof on my CRX is broken and I took it in to get fixed and theyre quoting me really expensive. I dont really want/need the sunroof, so I was wondering if anyone had heard about an aluminum peice that goes over the sunroof spot? I think I have seen something like this before for like racing. Right now the sunroof sits slightly off, it came of its track. I dont really care that it works, but it rattles so I want to fix it. Any help?

www.mmrusa.com has fiberglass filler pieces for like $100...you could also get a custom lexan piece done pretty cheap and rivet it in....or you can lose the tracks, motor and all that other crap and seal your stock panel in there somehow....

Last year i cracked my sunroof in a bass comp, the honda dealership quoted me $2000 canadian. I searched around and found a place out of Victory BC and they sold me one for 400canadian.

Those damn sunroofs arnt cheap.
