I have a crack in the top of my radiator about 5 inches long. it only leaks when the engine is hot, but i constantly have to refill the reservoir and radiator almost every other day. i tried to fix it with some stuff i found called quickSteel thats supposed to be temp resistant to 600 degrees. i tried to seal the crack with it with 3 layers and the crack reopened... does anyone have any ideas on what else i can try to seal the crack??

Well, the old trick of using an egg white only works with pinhole leaks. The same goes for any commercial product that seals radiator leaks, they can only be so big. A 5 inch gash, no matter how thin, will not heal with these products. Looks like a new radiator is in store for you bro...sorry.

yep, and if you have the means/$$$ get a good aluminium one if you feel like upgrading.
