I have a 95 Cherokee with a 4.0 Six Cyl. The Jeep seems to be running warm according to the guage. I have flushed the system with a liquid flush solution.
I replaced the Thermostat with a 180, and a new Water pump. It Takes 20 or 30 miles to get hot.. but the guage will rise very slowly to Just shy of the last mark before the red zone. I think thats about 220 - 225. This seems too hot to me, althougt it's not boiling out anywhere or bubbling. I was wondering what temp other cherokee's are running at? This is driving me crazy,,, Can't seem to figure it out......any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank
Paul

Paul, does the temperature vary with driving condition, like highway vs stop and go traffic? If it doesn't, I'd say that replacing the radiator is your fix, since the cooling system is working properly, but the capacity of the radiator is degraded enough to let it get very hot.
