01 SE 4dr

I just bought an 01 Taurus SE,3.0L (not DOHC) and it seems like a pretty nice car. Its got 95k on it, I'm not sure I like the way it shifts, are these cars known for tranny problems? Or any other notorious problrms with these cars?

The quick answer is yes, transmission issues are fairly common on the Taurus if the transmission is not serviced regularly and/or is abused.
