recent repairs did i get took???

:banghead: recently had work done to 98 aurora. left lower control arm $335.00 right outer tie rod end $70.00 left inner cv boot $50.00. labor to install all items $225.00.... just wondering what you guys thought. lower control arm seems mighty high. i can't buy this item at any parts store. is it gm factory part??:banghead:

did the replace the entire lower control arm??? why? was it bent? or did they just change the bushings? Sound like the $335 was for parts.

Lets see, I paid $35 for my tie rod from O'reillys. Repair places usually charge 2x for parts because if there is a warranty claim later, youve paid for it already.

Labor at $70/hr means it took them about 3 hours. so thats right on the money. I would have done the work myself and used the money that I paid to the shop for the tools (but since ive been doing this for so long, I already have the tools)
