a intercooling pipe problem maybe?

Ok here was happened yesterday I was showing off with a chick in my car and when I hit around 15 PSI of boost I heard like a loud blow off noise (air venting from somewhere) and my car obviously stopped pulling as hard. Now my car runs completely fine except when I try and exceed about 10PSI of boost. At 10 PSI it struggles and actually starts to slow down. I've notice I've lost about 2hg at idle also. I figured its not the turbo because if it was shot then I wouldn't be able to make any boost, RIGHT? and I don't have a bad Idle so I'm thinking I have some pipe somewhere that holds up to around 10 PSI and then opens up and causes my car to struggle severely. Its not such a big deal cause driving around town my car is perfectly fine, but thats not why I own a talon ;). Any feelings on where to check guys?

Boost leak test it and fix the hole you made, but start off by checking hoses and ur IC pipes
