Gotian VS Scion TC

So after a pretty good eventful night (that will be another post that you guys will like, Musashi VS Gotian Round 2 : Musashi Strikes back, We got vids!)I'm driving home with my fiance and fellow wingman who we call "Bushido" we run into a chick (pretty good looking one) driving a black TC. She starts pacing me at 40 and has her music pretty loud so I speed up a bit. She continues to pace me.

So were at eachothers doors for a minute when she decides to take off, we go to about 100 and I have a good 3-4 cars on her. We get to a red light and I'm honking at her to try to tell her good run, instead she revs a bit cause now she wants to go from a dig.

Light goes green and we take off, she gets a really good launched that impressed me and also gave her the lead. I shifted into 2nd a little before 7k(which is where my limiter is) and I break traction, shes ahead of me with her bumper at my nose. I take 2nd all the way up and pass her as I get to 70. I shift to 3rd before 7k again and now I'm going about 110, which is where I shut down. Again I had about 3-4 on her. We get to another light which is where I was supposed to turn, but I wanted to see if she would go again. I guess I spanked her to hard cause she didnt look at me, didnt rev, and when I launched she stayed back quietly.

Overall She did impress me with her launch and if she mods that TC it would be alot closer than 3-4 cars. I like TC's and I know they do good with mods, so if she does mod the car I will look for her again.

Even with mods TC's are slow. With the supercharger option they make 200 HP (crank) and run low 15s. Slow.

Im talking about aftermarket mods, not options that come from factory, Ive seen some sick ones especially the turboed ones

dont be so harsh on the tC. low 15's for 20k (brand new) is a pretty good deal. Ive seen turbo'd tC's run 12s on stock internals. The 2az-fe is a pretty good platform, it just doesnt have all that much aftermarket support.

yeh, the tc is more of a chick's car, they're slow, quick with the trd supercharger and a lil quicker with turbo. Zero Point Industries offer a stage 0 turbo kit (230 whp @ 6 psi) and stage 1 (300 whp @ 10 psi)

I've seen a couple of them run at the track, and wasn't very impressed,....

nice kill, TCs are nice cars for the price, i was thinking about one with the TRD, but changed my mind.

I'm surprised she kept up with you that good. I raced one in the Sebring a while back and he was able to keep up. Neither of us gained ground on the other.

that launch helped her cause thats the only reason she kept up cause I just kept putting distance between us.

Yes I could hit 110 in 3rd, and musashi has the vids, bug him

so you could finish the 1320 in second gear or the begining of third....I dont remember but is your car auto....

mine is manual and i finish it a little above the middle.

damn you have long gears....Im in the middle of fourth when I finish the 1320...

yeah but i think either your 4th or 5th is longer than mine is so you make up for it

my third is about 115, 4th is about 130 and 5th (if drag doesnt get me first) is 148. The most I've gone was 135 though, cause of drag.

well my speedo ends at 160mph.....and my redline is about 6200rpm.....so in fifth gear at 6200rpm and with no drag Ill be at about 160mph......too fast for me so not done on a daily basis....lol.....but yeah I fixed my boost leak....I knew where it was coming from the whole time but just to lazy to fix it......
