My girlfriend likes the new Malibu so she drove one. It was an 06 with the 3.5 liter. Just thinking about it and wondering.
Does anyone have one and how do you like it?
Likes - dislikes - problems - gas mileage?
Just looking for opinions.
Thanks

A friend of mine had one. I think it was an 01 or 02, she hated it. She constantly had problems with it. Maybe hers was the only one, I don't know

Maybe the 05 is different, but if you read the other posts in the malibu forums you'll see what I mean. Here's the second one listed http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/images/buttons/firstnew.gif (http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?goto=newpost&t=206851) Malibu 2 Words Never-again............... yea, I read through that but they were refering to years prior to 06.
As noted she drove the 06 with the 3.5liter and was wondering about that one - if anyone had one. Don't know if there was improvements?

I have an '04 Maxx and previously had a '98 LS. I was lured by a $4,000 Owner Loyalty rebate back then.....
This gen is a HUGE step up over the prior gen, but, alas, I've had numerous problems, primarily because mine was the first model year (but still FAR less than the '98, which I'll never know how I managed to keep for 6 years). The '05s have less issues, the '06s even less, and the '07s are likely to be nearly trouble free as GM gets ready to launch an all-new '08 version. Yep, the next Mali has moved ahead from '10 to '08. Spy shots are now on the Web.
You're pretty safe with an '06 or '07, IMO.
