Front indicator lights

My Friends: I have a 99 Pontiac Transport. My front passenger indicator lights were not working and I replaced the front burnt out bulb (#3157). When I turned the right signal on, this bulb worked but the tiny side peanut bulb (EiKO 194) does not work. I replaced this tiny bulb and when I turned the signal on, it still does not light but most strangely both driver and passenger side indicators started flashing. Any ideas how I can fix this? Thanks.
