Ahhhhhhhhh. So I saw this DSMtuners ad for a 1g AWD catback for $250. I call him and talked to him about it. He said it was in eBay as well, but that he'd end the auction and give it to me anyway. So I payed him $315 shipped through PayPal for my catback. Never came. I know his name, phone number, and city/state so it wont be hard to find his address. I am sooooo pissed right now. I filed a claim with PayPal and they decided in my favor but I didnt get any money back! WTF?!? Anyway, his name is Clay Collins so dont buy shit from him!

What exactly went wrong? Our deal went down really smooth. He didn't seem like a scammer at all. Did he just stop replying? Have you given him a chance to try to explain anything? I have been in that guy's apartment. I think I've seen the exhaust in question.

If he works for deal, shit I would try to get his ass in trouble with the company.Tell the company that hes a fucking scammer and what not.

Yeah, basically he cut off contact. I paid, he said he would end the auction (I saw it via dsmtuners.com but he listed it on ebay as well) and like a week later he sasid that he would ship it the next day. Well, several emails and phone calls later and no return I figured I should just go through paypal.

End of June. IIRC it was the 23rd. It took 4 days for the money t get from my account to his, then he said he went on vacation for I think 4 days. He came back and I got the last email from him on like a Tuesday and he said it was getting sent out the next day. No package, no returned calls, no returned emails, and no returned money from Paypal.

That sucks dude. I got scammed $800 once for a Buschur built head (and I mean BUILT, cam'd to hell, and the best of the best). Some fuck down in Arkansas, I even talked to him on the phone and everything. Had the number for his house, gf house, job, his address and everything. I never saw a pennie of that back though, well as of yet. My dad has a buddy that goes through his town now and then so we slipped him some cash go pay that guy a little "visit." Man that extra $800 would be nice right now.

If he claims he sent it he should have a tracking number or receipt for the shipment.

Yep and if he doesnt have proof, it didnt. The paypal lady said they were working on it...

I learned I am not buying anything unless its from very good and very good recent feedback ebayers, a shop/online store, or in person. I wish everyone in the world wasnt a butt fucking asshole.

I feel you Thor. I have (knock on wood) never been scammed but have thought I have been...so i know the feeling that you go through. In March of 2005, when the new ps2 slims came out I sent some random ass guy on ebay $1100 of my dollars, so I can by 10 NEW slim ps2's. The reason I did this was so I can resell them and make some cash. Well like a month later after I paid him packages still did not come in, but they finally did...but still I was scared shit for like 3 weeks straight. But in the end I made like $350 in like less than one week and I barely did any work....i just worried, lol.

But seriously, I like your attitude that you will either get you exhaust/money or get some sort of revenge.
