Has any one installed a turbo-kit? Is that hard and is it possible to do it in your front driveway? Thanks:screwy:

yea its not that hard to do they sell them from turbonetics they take your car from 155hp to 240hp on 7 psi of boost.

do not try to make your own using 240 parts for the ka becasue the manifolds are different and you will just melt shit.

there is a website called turboaltima.com you should check it out

Yeah thanks man, the 240SX is completely different, the engine is the same although it is not sitting sideways. Is the Altima good enough to be fixed up and run aginst a 240? or would it be a was of time?

no my wife has a turbo altima and she tears up everybody including me and i drive an awd talon with 350 hp she can out top me as soon as she gets traction. but she has beat this kid that lives by us that has a 240 with an sr20 swap and a whole load of shit done to it. she runs low 13s on street tires

I guess, but is the engine stock or did you have anything else to it. It sounds really strong if it can take your talon out. Maybe what makes it so good is the fact that it is really light. Well Thanks.

the engine has bone stock internals the turbo kit is made to be a direct bolt on runing 7-8 lbs on stock internals now if you want to up the boost yea you will need more like pistons and rods. her tranny had to be rebuilt and all that it couldnt handle it after a couple weeks. it hasnt given her any problems yet and shes been driving it for a good 9 months or so everyday.

yea its quick but i finally got her last night i got rid of my stock turbo and got a evo 3 16g i kept the boost at 16lbs and ran a 11.7 she ran a 13.6
