In the market for a new cellphone, need opinion

Ok people here's the deal. I'm in the market for a new cell phone since I'm still left back with old school AT&T wireless, which then suggests, that yes, i am transferring to Cingular.
The reason I can't stay with my current cell phone is because it's pretty worn, and I don't get as much service dependability compared to if I had a Cingular based phone. I have a Nokia 3650 right now if you guys were curious.
And I can say from the start, I was looking at another Nokia because I always loved the simplicity and straightfowardness and the reliability of the software on Nokias, at least the experience that I've had.
Things I want in a new phone is a really good camera, music ringtones and bluetooth (for my Palm LifeDrive)...pretty much that's it.
Unfortunately, I haven't found any decent Nokias offered by Cingular (The 6682 they offered was just recently discontinued).
So I've settled between the LG CU500 (http://onlinestorez.cingular.com/cell-phone-service/cell-phones/cell-phones.jsp?RFlow=A&source=INC230056&zip=07302&q_deviceId=cdsku9870167&WT.svl=mod) or the Samsung D807 (http://onlinestorez.cingular.com/cell-phone-service/cell-phones/cell-phones.jsp?RFlow=A&source=INC230056&zip=07458&q_deviceId=cdsku9870156&WT.svl=mod).
I'm really torn between the two. Both I think are cool, they have what I need and they are in the price range of what I want to spend.
I've never had a flip phone and I thought it was nice when I saw it in person, and with the Samsung, I thought the slide action was cool.
Both practically offer the same things, 1.3 megapixel cam, video recording (not that i need the video part), music playback (I think the samsung has it, I know the LG does), music ringtones etc.
So I need you guys' opinion and maybe any personal experiences etc.
The only phone I refuse to have are the Motorola ones. I admit they are pretty cool, but to me, their software is like BMW's iDrive, there's no straight answer or choice on what task you want to do and I htink it's confusing compared to the Nokias. Not only that, I've heard they were full of problems (I know the newer ones are better), and everyone has them...Razrs or the new thin one...I just don't like them.
I haven't had much time to spend with these phones at the stores, but so far, I still like both
Here's more info on these phones.

My LG 1150 was a piece of crap, as was my friends. So I would steer away from them if I were you.

Here's the Nokia 6682 BTW. (http://www.phonescoop.com/phones/user_reviews.php?phone=684)
They may have discontinued it because after reading the flaws on the reviews, Nokia maybe coming out with an updated version. We'll see.

the new LG Chocolate is sick, but i think thats only offered to verizon as of yet. its basically an iPod... that you can call with. i know cingular has the iRock phone, but i heard its actually a p.o.s.
of the two, i'd go with the LG simply because its a flip phone, and i prefer them. I used to have an old LG and never gave me problems, was very advanced, too, for its time. righ tnow i use a motorolla E815M

well, you can go GSM and get w/e you want. being unlockable, itll work with any network, but going through cingular, you get those rebates, if youre even eligiable. just go to their site and shop for what they sell.
and the nokia 6260 is coming here, well, the new one. nokia has two new phones coming and sony has the cybershot! ugh! cant wait...could really suck, but the technology is awesome. then again, korea does have that, i think, yes...10megapixel phone. Samsung rulz!!!
As for cingular, id get a SLVR (make sure it has everything available), Nokia, and i could swear they offer the T809, but mayeb they dont. check into it at the mall or some local store.
But be sure to research GSM's is you want to spend a little extra for something a better. But yeah, feel free to PM if you have any more questions.

This fone is crazy, touch screen menu, and a helluva lot more.
I hear you can get the euro version unlocked and choose ur provider, so you can stay with whoever you have now, but as far as the American version, it is only Verizon for now.
You have to check out this video of the euro version, basically same as american http://youtube.com/watch?v=kb5C8DJEbEo

LGs suck pretty bad. I have one that is very reliable but it is old as hell and is starting to show it signs of wear. Has been in water 2-3 times, dropped atleast 4 times a day and is pretty much abused. Oh it took a blow of a horse kick when I first got it. But while it dried out the second or third time it hit water I bought another POS LG and it was worse then the one that dropped in water. I let my sister use it while her phone was broke then threw it against the wall and it shattered into about 150 pieces.
SUMMARY:
LGs suck go with Nokia, Motorola, Sony/Ericson, or a Samsung you'll be better off.

I guess I made a bad investment.
I read the reviews in CNet, and they gave the CU500 the best rating out of the Samsung and the Nokia.
So I went with the LG.
And I'm happy to say, I'm very very very happy with it, so far at least in contrast to what you all are saying. It feels really really solid and it runs really well and fast, has fast internet, can stream videos, take kick ass pictures, it has an MP3 player, and has a very nice feel to it. Overall, I'm happy with my decision hehe.
