A little HELP

Hey got a hold of a 83 Ford F150. With a carbed Inline 6. The problem i am having is some where in the charging system. it has a new alternater with new external voltate regulator. the battery is also new. but the charging system is not working. I cant seem to figure it out at all. every thing is hooked up on the back of the alternater. Little Help?:banghead:

Have you test to see if there is any output from the alternator?
