passenger side relay for power window

My window for the passenger side on my 93 Astro stopped working. Neither the drivers side switch or the passenger side switch would work. I had my son in law replace the drivers side window motor and everything went perfect. With this side though; he can get the swith to roll the window down, but he has to switch some wires around in the switch plug to get it to roll back up. It won't function both ways like it should. It won't work from the drivers side in any configuration. Can anyone help us out, and where is the relay located? We took of the side kick panel, and found the brain bos located behind it, but no relay, unless we don't know what we're looking for. Thank you.

Two things.....
First, pull the boot loose at the door jamb (where the wires go into the door) and look for broken wires. Opening and closing the door will eventually break the wires. Start on the drivers' side, if they look OK, go to the passengers' side. Fix what you find.
If that isn't it, the power for the right window - both for driver or passenger control - comes from the drivers' switch. If the wiring is OK, replace the drivers' switch.

Thank you SG for the quick reply. After rereading my post; it is a little vague. We replaced the drivers side motor about a year ago, and all went flawless.I went to roll the passengers side window down(from the drivers side switch) the other day and it was dead. I then tried it from the passengers side switch, and it was dead there too. We replaced that motor this weekend, and it is still dead at the drivers side, but we can roll the window down and up from the passengers side switch, but we have to rearrange the wires in the switch plug to change directions(up or down). When I say "we have to rearrange the wires", I mean we have to take the wire ends out of the switch plug and put them back in in each configuration .Someone suggested that the relay was bad, but we don't actually know. Why would the switch work like it's doing on the passengers side, and not from the drivers side? It almost seems like some kind of short, or lack of ground unless the relay is what makes it all work togeather correctly. I just don't know, and I don't want to take it to a dealer, because I just can't afford it. Thanks so much for any help. I will check the wirs but we can't find a way to get inside the wiring boot between the door and jamb without tearing it up. Thanks again.

There is no relay for the power windows.
The drivers switch supplys power and ground for both sides, even to the passengers side switch. if you can swap the wires around and make it work a little, either the master switch, the slave (pass) switch, or the wiring to the passengers side is open/broken.
If you pop the boot off on one side, you can scoot the harness down enough to inspect it.
Good Luck.
