My friend gave me a vtec controller (APEXI Digital AVC-R). I have a b20 in my crx. Since my engine is non vtec, is there any way of knowing if the controller turns on?? The reason is that i wanna sell it and i want to know if it works... Thanks for your help.~!

yea thats basicly all you can do. i mean youd never really knwo if it truly works unless you find a vtec model car you can add it to or yo ucould frankenstien that b20 and make more power.

Hook it up to your car and get it up to the set rpm on the controller, and check for a signal off the thing.

i completely agree with FrodoGT, if you get signal, if it turns on, then it's good, save it and go b20/vtec:grinyes:
