I Just Put A Vtec Engine And Engine Harness In My Non Vtec 96 Civic. The Non Vtec Car Has No Wiring For The Rear O2 Sensor. Car Runs Ok But Engine Light Will Not Go Off. Anyone Know How To Wire Up The Rear Sensor On This. Thanks

What engine did you put in? If the engine is OBD-II, the wiring should be there.

The Car Is A 96 Dx. The Engine Came Out Of A97 Ex.d16y8. The Problem Is The Wiring For The Rear O2 Sensor Comes From Under The Dash " Not The Engine Harness" And Goes Through The Floor In Front Of The Console.

Ah, I see. I just looked in the FSM, and sure enough, it does come from under the dash. Learn something new everyday. Well, you could get the under dash harness from the EX and wire it in, but that would be a huge pain ripping your dashboard out. Or, you could try and wire it directly into the ECU harness. If you don't have the FSM for the 6th gen civic, find one online somewhere. The wiring diagrams in there should help you out. Good luck!
