Ok, so i need to lose some weight. I am about 5'7" and 220 lbs. I am built a little big so it isnt all fat, but I could easily 20-30 lbs. I work at an aluminum foundry (summer job) so I get decent exercise during work, and once school starts I go to the gym 3-5 times a week schedule permiting. My biggest problem with losing weight is food. I am very busy and by the time i get home i am too tired, or lack the skill to cook a good meal. I usually end up eating fast food or something like hot dogs or other processed food. Now to the question. Is the nutrisystem program any good? They prepare all your meals for you and ship them to you. It isnt cheap, but it isnt too expensive either. (about $320 for 28 days). Just wondering if anyone has tried it or has any input.

Learning to cook is extremely easy, especially when it comes to small quick meals like eggs or pasta or something....even grilling some veggies. I havnt heard about the nutri system but I bet it tastes like cardboard and even if you do drop the weight, youll put it back on when you run out of food to eat.

I don't like these meal plans because lots of them simply aren't healthy. you might drop a tonne of weight because you starve yourself on these diets but you gain it back because your body goes into starvation mode and stores alot of what you eat in fat so that you don't starve to death. anyways I would suggest cooking for yourself, you might be tired and whatnot but there are some cook books for quick and easy meals that taste good. go to your local book store and buy a good cook book and do it yourself. it'll be alot better for you than nutrisystem and it'll make you a better cook (good if you have a girlfriend/wife).
