E320 performance tips wanted

I'm new to the forum, so apologies about asking something that's been discussed before. I have a 1995 E320 with 65,000miles (owned it since 39,000 miles). No major problems, but I sense that the shocks might be wearing. Also, the right front tire is lately a bit out of align and wearing on the outside edge (castor/camber problem?). I don't want to replace with OEM if I can get some performance and longevity improvement with aftermarkets. I've looked at Koni, KYB, Bilstein, etc. Big price difference! Any advice on this or other conjunct suspension tuning that will still leave the car comfortable for road driving.
Also, any advice on other low level performance tweaks would be appreciated: Exhaust system, intake systems, ECU's, etc.
Many thanks

i've had great experiences with kyb's on all of my previous vehicles. an intake system and full exhaust system will free things up a bit and give you a little more pep and better gas mileage, but if you're looking to make it fly, forced induction is the only way to go. get some stickier tires and it'll help a bit too.
