I got this 1.18 scale Sunstar Escort at an auto show for pretty cheap and they're pretty new. This is my first SunStar model and the detail is much better than I though it would be. Overall it's a nice model for my ever growing collection it has a 3 point roll cage, big ass mudflaps, compomotive alloys and a huge light bar holding 4 spot lights . The real car was driven by Timo Makinen (not Tommi) and Henri Liddon . It's a nice model and is also my first rally car.

This is a Sunstar!? Looks great indeed!!! How is the quality of this model compared to, say, a maisto? I've been trying to hunt down a 1:18 Porsche 356A but all I could find was the ones made by sunstar....

ah you're right, this one does look a lot better than maistos... I guess what I was really asking was how do the two brands compare in general, since sunstar is usaully also considered a 'budget brand'
