A friggin hilariouse movie! I saw it last night, and i think it is deffinately one of the better movies that Will ferrel has done. "I wake up in the morning & piss excellence" lol. :lol:

Typecasting is the process by which an actor (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Actor) is strongly identified with a role (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Role_%28actor%29), several similar roles, or a particular genre (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Genre).
basically, the movie is being made with the actor in mind. they'll write the script knowing "k, Will Farrel will say this", not "k, our main actor, whoever he is, could say this"
I have yet to see it, looks sooo good though.

I saw this with my cousin on Friday - we're both huge Will Farrel Fans.
Anchorman was by far one of my favourite movies. I didn't expect this one to be as good, and I don't think it was. Talidega nights was good - I like cars anyway so that aspect was cool. I think it was what I expected. Definitely could have rented it. I doubt I'll buy it either when it comes out.

Aweosme movie for a good laugh. I love his style of comedy. They also showed a preview for his new movie..forgot the name (someone narrats his whole life)...But it also looks amusing...I love his little appearance in wedding crashers (MOM MEATLOAF...FUCK!!)

saw it last night, definitely a very funny first view movie, however I think its one of those movies that will not be nearly as funny the second time around.
I'd put it in the same level with wedding crashers, laughed my ass off in the theatre, but was kinda meh when it came out on video and i saw it again.

Usually when I see a movie in the theater and I frickin love it, if I get it on DVD its just not as good as the first time. Like when MI:2 came out I saw that in the theater and I couldn't stop talking about it then I got it on VHS and I was like yeah that sucked. lol I hate how that happens

After suffering through Bewitched, I personally don't care if he's type-casted. It's probably a good thing. The man is a comedic genius, but I don't see him winning many Oscars in the future. Jim Carrey proved he could make hte transition to serious films, even though he started out in much the same way as Ferrel has. But I really don't think Ferrel has proven his ability to take on a serious role. Just my .02
