No lights -in the dark

all the interior and exterior lights went out suddenly on my 1988 Jeep Cherokee. There is a warning light lit-up that reads part-time that came on when the lights went out. There are no signals, break lamps, tail lamps. Any suggestions?

-I'd start in the fuse box. Check all of them one-by-one. Maybe take notes as to which are blown, if any, including what they went to. (Incase you've got a cascade-style effect going on that affected several areas at once.)
-If you've done any work to it recently, go back over everything you did, step-by-step. (Another fellow just had an issue with many elec. problems b/c he left out a few screws/bolts that turned out to be grouning sources for various systems)
-The "Part-Time" indicator light is supposed to come on when one puts their rig into part-time 4WD. (It's NOT a good idea to drive on paved roads like this! You will eventually break something expensive.) If it's in P/T 4WD, you'll know it when you try and turn. If it isn't, this light has probably been affected by whatever is causing your other lighting malfunctions...
