Touque Converter Please HELP !!!!!

I have 1999 GMC Classic my check engine light came on the other day. And now my speedometer and tac. are not working. I went to the local auto parts store and used there code reader it came back with touque convert codes.
this sounds serious. Has anyone had this same problem if you have how much was it to repair.

What were the codes? Could it just be the lockup solinoid stoped working.

It was not Touque converter problem. It was an ignition switch problem
I don't know how that is related to all the problems I was having but i took it to Trany shop and they told me that it is very common problem. The cost of repair $300.00 hope i did'nt get ripped off
