2001 Monte SS STILL CAN"T GET IT STARTED

:banghead: PLEASE NEED HELP SS still will NOT start- Does nothing when key is turned. Gauges, lights work. Power doors stopped working several weeks ago but now trunck opener doesn't work and key fabs are both dead. Radio does not work. After a while security dash light comes on then service vehicle soon. Does anyone else have this problem-it seems like the locks and radios
go on (as did mine) then won't start next? I need this car and really need to get it going. Thanks

Its most likely your ignition assembly... your looking at a 4-500$ repair. I had similar where my traction control shut off, my engine temp drops to 0 while im driving, and it tells me my headlights dont work. I got it fixed when my turn signals stoped working...

If you haven't already, have the battery checked. If it checks out, you need the ignition switch wiring harness. It's a fairly common problem on GM W-body cars.
