so many stickies!!!

There's about a billion stickies floating around on the top of COT here... I'm just wondering if we really need to have this many? Perhaps instead of having all these different ones (scam thread, ebay thread, video thread, pic thread just to name a few) that probably not all of us read, maybe we could have a single stickied thread called "links to important threads" in which the first post could be edited by whatever mod felt it was necessary to add an important thread.

Just an idea. What do you guys think?

there's only a few that dont need to be there. and i think once something gets stickied, people dont post in it as much, like the ebay items, scams, etc.

piss posts and quotes are always happening and vids too. idk, w/e happens happens. but it is bad that you have to scroll past the stickies first before you see a thread almost.

well how about putting the Picture thread up in the Photography forum? prob won't get much attention there, though.

thumbs up! looks good. Is there any way we can keep those threads from resurfacing whenever someone posts something new in them though? That might get a bit confusing and we wouldn't want them to get accidentally locked because of their age.

All the mods know the threads so they are exempt from locking due to the age rule. Plus, if it doesn't resurface, how will we know it's been updated? ;)
