03 Burban, AC blows only from dash

I just had my battery go dead and had to replace it. I'm not sure if this is related, but when I replaced the battery, the AC controls no longer work for the front. The rear controls work fine and air blows cold from them, but the front controls for the front, bi-level & feet don't work, air just blows from the dash no matter what the setting is on. I've checked the fuses, don't see any blown so not really sure.

Any help would be great. I live in AZ and it's 108 today, going to the dealer but would love to know if there is an easy fix.

I believe there is a controller in the dash that will give the symptom you have when it fails. You could call a dealership and ask them if they are familiar with the problem to get confirmation thatis the cause. My brother-in-law had the same problem on his 96. I think the part was 100 bucks. I don't know how hard it is to get to 'cause he had someone else fix it for him. Hope this helps

Thanks very much. Just dropped it off this morning. Dealer confirmed what you just stated, actuator about $200 w/labor.

Could no longer bear the heat. I live in AZ, wife and kids didn't appreciate not having air blowing directly on them, some people I tell you. :lol:
