i dont kno if everyone saw this in my other post but my radiator fan will not shut off and i cant figure it out. it goes on once the key is turned and shuts off about 10 seconds after the key is taken out. whats goin on?

it is f-ing hot that is what!!! people keep coming and asking me the same thing at work. the only other thing that can be wrong is the fan relay/switch went bad. if it is 100 degrees there like it is here, then it is going to happen.

go and try picking up some "water wetter" or other form of antifreeze improver. they can help keep those temperatures down.

if your thermostat is bad, then it might just do it all the time to keep things cool b/c it doesn't kno how hot it is, but the likely hood of that is slim.

the engine doesnt have to be hot for my fan to come on. if i start my car up after days of it just sitting there, not bein used, the fan will still come on. and i checked the relay in the fuse box under the hood and it works fine.

Also, if you are running your AC your fan will run almost all the time no matter what the temp is.

that too... it has to get air through the condenser for the a/c to work

some good news, the fan somehow fixed itself. i got in my car today and started it up and i didnt here it running so i opened the hood and it looks like its working fine now.
