'94 626 Defroster Problem

Anybody know how I can fix, or what might be wrong, with a 1994 Mazda 626 defroster that won't pump air up to the defroster vents by the windshield? Fan works fine, other vents work well, just can't get the air to flow up to the windshield??

Thanks for any responses you might have.

Took in into a technician last week, they troubleshot it to a bad connection in the wiring, re-hooked it up and it's working. At one time they were saying the only options were to replace the unit for about $700-$800 bucks, or use the heater wire connection to blow air up through the defroster instead of the floor area. Glad they tried the reconnect, the diagnostics and labor put me out $110.
