Coil pack dead?

Ok I have been having trouble with the car idealing at 200rpm and getting a barametric pressure sensor code. I checked the middle coil pack and found no spark in it. I then switched the middle pack to the outside and still have no spark in the new middle pack. outsides are sparking. Checked the wire harness plug in and it checks ok. Any ideas?

If you moved it around and there is still no spark then its obviously not the coil pack. PTU could be malfuncting. If you are getting a barometic pressure CEL that usually indicates something wrong toward the MAS. Is it plugged in?

Mas is plugged in. I tried to replace it and see if it was bad but all i had was one off a SOHC stealth and it made this worse when pluged in. Sometimes the car will run right and then just go back to missing and low ideal

What year? If its a 1g it might be time to check the caps in the ECU.
Also it doesnt matter that the MAS came from a SOHC. MAS's in SOHC, DOHC, DOHC TT and even 2g turbo DSM's are identical.

It's a 94' base model. 137k miles. Also i check the male side of the plug to the coil pack and it only gives power sometimes, and the female, when you touch one prong you get power to all three coils not just one. all 3 run one red wire while it has a seperate wire for each ground.

unless you have a datalogger, you won't be able to tell if the car is idling that low. atually, i'm pretty sure it won't idle that low. the tick marks on the tachometer start at 0, then skips to 500, 600, 700, 800, 1000. idle should be between 650-800. if you turn the a/c on, idle should increase a little. what code is the 'barometric pressure sensor' ?

this may be helpful http://www.3si.org/forum/showthread.php?t=282955
here is some more info i found on bps code 25 (NOTE: its says DTC P0105 in the pic b/c that's the code for 96-99 models. however, since its the same sensor, i'm sure the description/diagnosis is the same.)

everything you ever wanted to know about the PTU http://www.stealth316.com/2-pwrtransunit.htm . the pic between steps 8 & 9 shows where the PTU is. it looks as if it is near the thermostat housing, on the passenger side of the engine, on the front bank.
