new heads?

my friend told me about a head swap that i could do on my 91 civic dx...i think he said sumthin like a K series head swap or sumthin and it would put out like 190HP...anybody got any info?

K series on your dx?? I think you misunderstood him. Thats imbossible. The only head you can bolt on is a d-series single cam vtec one...this is called a mini-me swap...like one off a D16Z6. Even with that you wont be getting 190 hp anytime soon...especially with a dx bottom.

Just make sure your not drunk when your ripping off your dx head while trying to put on a k20a2 head...:smokin:

you can put on a z6 or a y8 head, since they will give you the most bang for your buck, you can also put on others like the y7 but thats non vtec so whats the point?
you'll get about 120ish hp out of it.

thanx for the help...do you know of any sites that i can get those heads from? i really need to get some more power out of this car, its beautiful and deserves to kick ass

If you want it to go fast i'd suggest swapping out your whole d15, including the bottom end and adding either a more powerful D or if money permits B series engine...try: hmotorsonline.com
