Leaking Wheel

A pin hole air leak has developed in one of my 1999 accord ex v6 alloy wheels. Can this be repaired or do i have to replace the wheel? Is it safe to repair? help! and thanks! charlie

Yes, Charlie!
A 5 dollar repair kit will help you. I do it every time if/when I get a nail. And it does work!
The only question is where it is leaking. Unfortunatelly if it leaks on the side of the tire you better talk to a professional.
Do not use the liquid repair though. It will ruin your ballance because part of the liquid will never get hard and it will be travelling inside of your tire. This is a tip from a professional I got at one of the forums.

Thanks, but the hole is in the wheel not the tire.

Well, I guess you will have to buy a new rim then!
Where is it leaking from? If it is at a point where the tire contacts the rim it probably can be saved. Talk to the tire guys.
